Test the workflow, not the import count
Use one week of new reading instead of moving an old archive. Save the same article, PDF, video, and newsletter in two tools. Highlight a passage, find it three days later, ask a question that needs more than one source, and open the supporting evidence.
Also test the handoff into your normal writing or AI environment. A tool that captures beautifully can still create friction if every output begins with manual copying.
